About Christina

Christina Moffatt transitioned from a corporate career to starting a journey as a mother, pioneering an award winning dessert bar AND HAs Now become a highly sight after consultant for growth strategy for both small and big business.

A baker since she could hold a measuring spoon, Christina combined her culinary skills with her management and marketing experience to create a dessert and cocktail lounge which expanded from a home-operated bakery to a commercial kitchen in less than a year and a national leader in the baking industry with in two years.

Christina and her team prepared everything rom a dozen cupcakes, elaborate cakes to 2,100 desserts for the Vice President of China, 4000 for a marathon race, served may celebrities and dignitaries. Many relied on Christina and her team to find a way to satisfy their sweet tooth...and find their own joy.

Christina sold the business after 12 successful years (including COVID) and now is focused on helping others growth their companies into long-term successful businesses.

Christina is a passionate business professional with a track record of developing strategic initiatives that positively impact businesses, communities, and people. She has exceptional experience in developing client services that support the diverse needs of small to midsize businesses and proven track record of how big businesses work to serve small business clients. She is a tireless promoter and advocate of programs and initiatives that drive organizational growth, leadership development, and positive workplace cultures of diversity and inclusion. She is a respected and trusted business partner and consultant to executive leaders and business owners. She is also a sought-after national speaker.

A graduate of DMACC, Iowa State University and University of Toledo CBA Program, Christina did not only own and operate her small business she also served as the Regional Director of the Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center, Director of Small Business Resources for the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Business Development Officer for PurposeBank and currently serves as a Customer Growth Strategist for Small to Midsize Business in the financial industry for a Fortune 500 company.  She also devotes her time and talents to many local boards.  Christina has won several awards for her business including DSM Top List for Best Bakery, Cityview’s Best Dessert, Sweet Equality Best Dessert, Runner up for the Iowa Mixology Competition and runner up on The Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. Christina has also been featured in Pastry & Baking North America in the Regional Showcase and Baker in Focus.
